This daily action has meant so much to me personally in the last few days as family, friends, and former work colleagues have contacted me sharing memories of my mother and sending words of comfort. I am truly touched by the kindness and support.

🌻 Get back in touch with an old friend you’ve not seen for a while 🌻
Last week I read my previous post from last year about getting back in touch with an old friend. It made me smile when reading it, as it contains plans / things to look forward to when we finally meet up with other friends in Cologne, Germany. Hopefully this will finally take place this year. I’m also very hopeful to be able to meet up with someone else in Germany, who I met randomly three years ago on a flight back to Melbourne. Their kindness and support also means very much to me.

Perhaps this coming month with work, you might;
- Organise a virtual ‘tea break’ with colleagues. Or if you are returning to your workplace, why not have a face-to-face morning tea (social distancing respected).
- Focus on being kind rather than being right.
- Check in on someone who may be struggling & offer to help
- Actively listen to what people say, without judging them
- Show an active interest by asking questions when talking to others.
Where ever you are around the globe, I hope that the actions from this month’s calendar, will help support yours and others career management plans, selfcare and wellbeing throughout the coming month and beyond.
