So excited when my TGTI (The Gnome That Inspires) mug arrived last Thursday morning, along with the resources for my #CareerLifeMixology session this week … had a break from professional readings in final preparations for my presentation, with a nice warming cup of orange & cinnamon tea 🫖🍊

I love the quote on the back of the cup by Dr Norm Amundson – “Hold the future in an open hand” 🌱🌏
Now whenever I have a sip out of this mug, I can think about this thought, and future possibilities
I think it is also fitting that the mug arrived on the anniversary of D-Day. My grandfather served in the British Army and took part in D-Day.

Grandpa and Grandma definetely were possibility thinking people who when I reflect back on their life and faith, were also very much people who anchored their faith with action-oriented hope.
Many years ago, after my father passed away and my life a little while later took an unexpected twist, they were the ones who believed in me and encouraged me to spread my wings and follow my dreams to live and work in the UK and beyond… afterall, in 1951 they held the future in an open hand, when they had the courage and made the decision to take a chance, leaving the familiarity of the UK for the unknowns of life in Australia with my father and aunt
