Does Transparency & Honesty Pay Off?

đź’Ş Never Give Up ….. there is always hope

I had an interesting interview yesterday for a job doing what I love supporting veterans.

❤️ Was very touched by the interviewing panel’s supportive response when asked if there was anything they needed to know “to best support me,” I.e. already booked holidays. I took a deep breath and openly explained about my current medical situation and future surgery. I was so worried it would be a deal breaker. Their response….. “That won’t be a problem, we can deal with it,”

🤞 Fingers crossed the 2nd round interview is on Tues, and it goes well

I won’t let ‘bumps in the road’ stop me

As to the answer about transparency in answering questions… In this instance, rapport had quickly been developed with the interviewing panel, and I had been made to feel so comfortable and heard, that I felt a huge relief, having gotten it out in the open. I do believe my transparency was very much appreciated by the panel.
