Some people plug into a wall socket. When my batteries run low,
I head for the water.
Sometimes it’s a beach walk, watching a river flow, other times it’s a quiet cuppa with a sea breeze, or just sitting by the shore watching waves roll in.
Sometimes it is a windswept dune, a lazy deckchair by turquoise water, or a blue tent pitched just far enough from the waves to hear their rhythm.

These are my favourite “charging stations” — places where my brain slows down, my shoulders drop, and the world feels lighter.
It’s my reminder to:
🌬 Breathe deeply
🌊 Let life flow
☀ Make space for light to break through

Recharging isn’t a luxury — it’s essential. And when I return, I’m sharper, calmer, and ready for what’s next.
Here’s the truth: we don’t always need a big trip to feel renewed. Sometimes all it takes is:
☀ A little sunshine
🌊 A lot of sea/water
☕ And a moment to simply be
Where’s your go-to place to recharge?
