I’m looking forward to the Bravery Trust challenge of walking 96km over 30 days for the virtual Kokoda Trail walk, to raise funds for an important cause. The challenge starts on 24 October to coincide with the start of Veterans Health Week. Veteran transitions and support is something close to my heart.
I’ve always wanted to trek the Kokoda Track, and now I get to do it albeit virtually whilst raising funds for our Veterans who need assistance. I’m glad Melbourne’s lockdown 5km travel distance restriction for exercise has of today been extended to 25kms. At least I’ll be able to vary my route instead of doing 96kms worth of laps of my immediate neighbourhood 😊
